The most powerful Bentley SUV ever has arrived. Meet the all-new 2025 Bentley Bentayga Speed, a luxury SUV that redefines performance, elegance, and driving thrill.
Bentley has officially retired its iconic W12 engine, but the new Bentayga Speed’s high-powered V8 more than fills its shoes—with quicker acceleration, a sharper chassis, and enhanced agility, proving that less really can be more.
Under the hood, the Bentayga Speed features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces an impressive 650 PS (641 hp) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque.
This new powertrain launches the SUV from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, shaving off half a second from the previous W12 model. It also boasts a top speed of 193 mph, making it the fastest Bentayga ever built—and among the top-tier speed performers in the ultra-luxury SUV segment.
Bentley’s engineers have fine-tuned the Bentayga Speed’s handling with a new SPORT driving mode, now 15% stiffer than before for sharper cornering and improved road feedback. The updated chassis includes torque vectoring, launch control, and for the first time in a Bentayga, ESC Dynamic Mode that even allows for controlled drift angles—a remarkable feat for a luxury SUV weighing 5,435 pounds. The rear-wheel steering further enhances low-speed agility and high-speed stability.
Performance upgrades aside, the 2025 Bentayga Speed also offers two exhaust systems: a standard sports exhaust and an optional Akrapovič titanium exhaust with quad tips, designed for drivers who crave an even deeper, more aggressive V8 soundtrack.
Visually, the new Speed makes a bold statement. Highlights include dark tint headlamps and tail lights, 23-inch Speed-exclusive alloy wheels, and an optional contrasting black roof in gloss or satin. Buyers can personalize the brake calipers in seven vibrant colors, especially when carbon ceramic brakes are equipped.
Inside, Bentley hasn’t compromised on luxury. The Speed model features a Precision Diamond quilted upholstery, dark-tint air vents, and Speed-specific badging on the dashboard, seats, and treadplates. A new two-tone interior color split showcases Bentley craftsmanship, blending sport and sophistication.
While the W12 engine may be gone due to tighter emissions regulations, Bentley assures drivers they’re not sacrificing any of the magic. In fact, the V8-powered Bentayga Speed proves the future of performance is already here—lighter, louder, faster, and far more agile than ever before.
As Bentley prepares to enter the electric era, with its first EV SUV already in the pipeline, the 2025 Bentayga Speed stands as a powerful farewell to pure combustion excellence—and a thrilling reminder of what makes a Bentley a Bentley.
