Mumbai, 8 Oct: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has commented on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in Haryana. He said the BJP’s victory in Haryana was unfortunate and had a huge impact on the BJP’s plans and campaign.
“The impact of these elections is not limited to Haryana; “The Bharatiya Janata Party campaigned in Jammu and Kashmir by abrogating Article 370 and the Ram temple issue, but despite all those campaigns, the Narendra Modi-led BJP was defeated,” he said.
Referring to the victory of the India alliance, Raut said, “The victory of the India alliance in Jammu and Kashmir is important. In Haryana too, a strong policy is required for india’s integration,” he said.
“The Congress could have got the support of local parties and got a better result in Haryana. However, the Congress believed in a one-sided victory, which cost them dearly.”
Expressing confidence in the strength of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra, Raut said, “In Maharashtra, the Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP are together and it will be difficult for the BJP to succeed here.”
Commenting on the BJP’s victory in Haryana, Raut said, “The BJP won, which proved its success. But it should be remembered that this is important for the democracy of the country,” he said.
