Pune – A shocking incident has unfolded in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where over 350 students from DY Patil School in Shahunagar, Chinchwad, fell ill due to food poisoning after consuming sandwiches. The students, ranging from grades 1 to 4, were served bread and chutney as part of their snack. “We had arranged snacks for the students, which included bread and chutney. Unfortunately, 300 to 350 children have fallen ill due to food poisoning. We deeply apologize to all the parents for this serious incident. The affected students were immediately taken to hospitals, and we are investigating the food quality. Strict action will be taken against the responsible individuals,” said Abhay Khotkar, Director of DY Patil School.
