Mumbai, 15 Oct: The bugle for the Maharashtra Assembly elections is about to sound, with the Election Commission of India set to hold a press conference today at 3:30 PM. It is expected that the dates for the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections will be announced during the briefing. While the ruling parties are keen on holding elections in a single phase, it will be important to see how many phases the elections will actually take place. (Maharashtra News)

Reacting to the upcoming elections, Shiv Sena leader Arvind Sawant said, “Shiv Sena is fully prepared and ready for the elections. These elections are crucial for the future of Maharashtra, and Shiv Sena is committed to serving the people.”

Sawant added, “We have provided clear instructions to our workers, and Shiv Sena will be active in every constituency. The people now demand only development, and that’s our primary goal.”

On the political front, the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the Mahayuti alliance will be facing off, and the elections are expected to be a highly competitive affair. Just like the elections in 2014 and 2019, the 2024 assembly elections are predicted to be equally intense. (Maharashtra Politics)

Once the election dates are announced, the Model Code of Conduct will come into effect across the state, limiting campaign spending and regulating political promotions. The implementation of this code will bring significant changes to how political campaigns are managed and will affect all parties.

It will be intriguing to see which party the people of Maharashtra favor in these important elections
