Mumbai – In the wake of his father’s murder, Zeeshan Siddique, son of slain NCP leader Baba Siddique, is fervently calling for justice. His father was fatally shot earlier this month, and Zeeshan took to social media to express the family’s grief and determination for accountability.

Zeeshan’s emotional appeal underscores the tragedy of the situation: “My father dedicated his life to protecting the vulnerable. Today, our family is shattered, but we cannot let his death be politicized or forgotten. I NEED JUSTICE; MY FAMILY NEEDS JUSTICE!” he shared on X. (Mumbai News)

As the investigation unfolds, Mumbai police have launched a look-out circular (LOC) for Shubham Lonkar, an alleged accomplice in the murder, who remains at large. Law enforcement officials confirmed that efforts to locate Lonkar are ongoing, alongside the pursuit of three other suspects. So far, four individuals have been detained in connection with the crime.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde pledged that the authorities would not tolerate such violence, stating, “Those responsible will face strict consequences. We will ensure that justice is served.” (Baba Siddique)

Baba Siddique, a well-known political figure and former minister, was shot outside his Nirmal Nagar office. Despite immediate care at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, he tragically succumbed to his injuries on October 12.
