PlayStation Plus subscribers can access the beta even earlier, starting from October 28th at 8:00 PM PT. The open beta will allow hunters to engage in various gameplay modes, including a Character Creation feature, a Story Trial to experience the game’s opening sequences, and a challenging hunt against an Alpha Doshaguma.
During the recent Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, Capcom unveiled a new trailer highlighting the Oilwell Basin location and showcasing formidable new monsters such as the Rompopolo and Ajarakan. Players will also explore unique gameplay mechanics, including two weapon states—Sheathed and Drawn—allowing for dynamic combat strategies.
As the February 28, 2025, release date approaches, fans are eager to test the game’s performance, especially given its use of the advanced RE Engine. Capcom encourages all players to join the beta to refine their skills and prepare for the full launch.
