Engine and Performance

Based on the well-known Interceptor 650 chassis, the Interceptor Bear 650 shares its oil and air-cooled 648 cc parallel-twin engine generating 47 horsepower at 7,150 rpm and a peak torque of 56.5 Nm at 5,150 rpm. Together with a 6-speed transmission, its strong engine guarantees an exciting riding experience both on and off the road.

Features

With an eye on off-road capability, Royal Enfield has made notable improvements for the Bear 650. The bike has new shock absorbs in the back providing 115 mm of travel and a 43 mm Showa USD fork with 130 mm of front travel. Complementing a 19-inch front spoked wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel furnished with MRF Nylorex tires meant for great traction, this lets one have a pleasant ride across difficult terrain.

Among Royal Enfield’s 650 cc motorcycles, the Bear 650 stands out for having an elevated seat height of 830 mm—the highest among The ground clearance of the motorbike, 184 mm guarantees its easy handling of difficult terrain. For daring riders, the bike is also nimble and responsive as it weights 216 kg, somewhat less than the Interceptor 650.

Price and Colors

Five other colors will be accessible from the Bear 650: Broadwalk White, Petrol Green, Wild Honey, Golden Shadow, and Two Four Nine. Prices for this new model are expected to be released on November 5, 2024; estimates range from ₹3.5 lakh (ex-showroom.). Bookings will start after the price announcement, and delivery should start by mid-November.
