Dodgers Parade Time: The Los Angeles Dodgers are gearing up for a celebratory parade in downtown Los Angeles this Friday, November 1, following their thrilling 7-6 World Series victory over the New York Yankees. This win marks the Dodgers’ eighth championship, capping off an electrifying season that concluded in Game 5.

The Dodgers parade will start at 11 a.m., beginning at Gloria Molina Grand Park near City Hall. Mayor Karen Bass is set to kick off the parade, which will follow a 1.2-mile route down 1st Street, Grand Avenue, and end at the intersection of 5th and Flower Streets. Fans will be able to see the Dodgers players atop double-decker buses as they journey through the heart of downtown LA.

How to Watch the Parade

For those unable to attend, live coverage will begin at 9:30 a.m. on SportsNet LA, with additional coverage on ABC7, local TV channels, and radio coverage on AM 570. The parade itself is set to last about 45 minutes, ending with a ticketed celebration event at Dodger Stadium starting at 12:15 p.m.

Post-Parade Celebration at Dodger Stadium

Following the downtown festivities, Dodger Stadium will host a celebration for ticketed fans. Gates open at 8:30 a.m., with ticket holders welcomed into the stadium at 9 a.m. The Dodgers are expecting a large crowd, with tickets selling out within an hour of release. Attendees can look forward to merchandise, food, and live parade streaming on DodgerVision scoreboards.

This will be the first parade celebration since 1988, as health restrictions in 2020 prevented in-person celebrations when the Dodgers won that year’s World Series in a shortened season. The 2024 victory has allowed the team to share their success with fans in full force, overcoming the criticism of 2020’s title as a “shortened season” win. Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux commented, “It kind of bugs everybody a little bit that you don’t get the recognition that you’re deserved.”

For Dodgers fans, Friday will be a day to savor the “fruits of victory,” as longtime fans relive the team’s rich history, from Tommy Lasorda’s spirited 1988 rally to Friday’s long-awaited return to parade celebrations.
