People in West Whatcom County have been told to be careful of high wind warning

High wind warning: THIS IS WHATCOM COUNTY, WA On November 4, from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m., the National Weather Service in Seattle has warned of high winds. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are likely.

The warning states that winds will blow steadily from the south at 25 to 35 mph, with gusts of 50 to 60 mph. The North Coast, western Strait of Juan de Fuca, San Juan County and western portions of Skagit and Whatcom counties are all in the danger area.

Since the trees in this region are still leafy, the effects of these winds could be worse than normal.
