EA SPORTS College Football 26 will officially launch worldwide on July 10, 2025, for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S, promising a groundbreaking next-gen experience that brings the intensity, pride, and pageantry of college football to life like never before.
Featuring real players from all 136 FBS schools, over 300 real-world coaches, and a completely revamped gameplay engine, College Football 26 is set to redefine how fans experience the college game virtually.
Cover Stars and Deluxe Edition Legends
Alabama’s Ryan Williams and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith headline the Standard Edition cover, both standout sophomore wide receivers who exploded onto the national stage last season.
The Deluxe Edition pays homage to the sport’s rich history, featuring college legends like Reggie Bush, Tim Tebow, and Denard Robinson, as well as current stars like Cade Klubnik (Clemson), Nick Singleton (Penn State), and Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame).
Coaches including Kirby Smart (Georgia), Marcus Freeman (Notre Dame), and Ryan Day (Ohio State) are also featured, highlighting the game’s enhanced realism and deeper team integration.

New Features: Stadium Pulse, Road to the Playoff & Ultimate Team
EA SPORTS has completely overhauled the Stadium Pulse system, bringing home-field advantage to life with crowd-driven gameplay effects like clock distortion, screen shake, and new audio-reactive features in rivalry and playoff games.
Among the game’s most anticipated additions is the Road to the College Football Playoff, a career mode that allows players to create, train, and lead a custom player through a full college career, with progression influenced by in-game performance, decisions, and team success.
Returning fan-favorite College Football Ultimate Team lets users build their dream squads using real athletes and legends of the game, supported by over 2,700 new plays designed to reflect authentic playbooks.
