Megan Fox: Brian Austin Green Reveals Megan Fox’s Breaking Point in Their Marriage, His Annoying Habit

Megan Fox: Brian Austin Green has opened up about the surprising habit that played a significant role in his split from Megan Fox. The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star, now 51, shared details about their challenges on Tori Spelling’s podcast, MisSPELLING. According to Green, the tipping point was a habit as mundane as his chewing.

“I honestly think the chewing thing, she’d gotten to the point where everything was annoying her,” Green explained. He described how small irritations began to pile up, creating tension in their relationship. “You kind of get to the point where you’re like, ‘God, just the way you’re shuffling your feet right now, the way you’re putting that toast in the toaster, it’s just driving me crazy.’”

For Green, the accumulation of these small annoyances was a sign that something deeper needed addressing. “That to me is when you either have to make the choice to say, ‘Okay, we’re going to go into therapy and try to find our connection and figure out what’s going on, or these things are going to sink us,’” he said.

The couple, who share three sons — Noah (11), Bodhi (10), and Journey (7) — have had a rollercoaster relationship. They met in 2004 on the set of Hope & Faith, married in 2010, and faced numerous ups and downs before Megan Fox filed for divorce twice. Their marriage officially ended in October 2021. At the time, reports indicated that balancing family and work was a major challenge. A source told People, “Megan continues to work a lot. When she is away, Brian stays with the kids. Before they filed for divorce, they had disagreements about this situation.”

Since their split, both have moved on. Fox, 38, has been in a high-profile, on-again, off-again relationship with singer Machine Gun Kelly. Meanwhile, Green found love with Australian dancer Sharna Burgess, whom he met on Dancing with the Stars. The couple has a two-year-old son, Zane, and announced their engagement in September 2023.

In addition to his personal life, Green has been busy professionally, starring in upcoming films like Golden, Chasing Midnight, and the rom-com Perfectly Imperfect. Meanwhile, Megan Fox is set to appear in the new sci-fi thriller Subservience.

Despite the end of their marriage, both Green and Fox continue to focus on co-parenting their children and pursuing their passions. As they navigate their new chapters, their journeys remain a source of public interest and conversation.
