December 2025, the last month of the year 2025 was a good time for most of the companies, but there were some models of some companies which did not get a single customer. Last month there were 6 such cars, of which not a single unit was sold and this is a matter of concern for the company. Models from Kia India, JSW MG Motor, Nissan India, Skoda, Volkswagen, Citroen and Jeep did not find a single customer in the list of top 10 best selling cars in December. If you too are planning to buy a new car in the new year, first find out which cars consumers are not buying. Knowing this, buying a car will be easy and beneficial for you.
‘These’ cars were completely rejected by consumers
Last month, Kia India’s two powerful electric SUVs Kia EV6 and EV9 did not find a single customer. Both these EVs have consistently topped the list of best selling cars. JSW MG Motor India’s full-size SUV Gloster also failed to find a single buyer last month. After this, Nissan India’s full-size SUV X-Trail was also among the unlucky cars and did not get a single customer. Among the cars that didn’t find a single customer were performance sedans and hatchbacks like the Skoda Octavia RS and Volkswagen Golf GTI. However, both these cars came in limited stock last year and can only be purchased by a limited number of customers.
Status of ‘these’ trains
In the list of 10 best-selling cars in the Indian market, the Citroen C5 Aircross 6 was ranked 7th after the completely unsold car, which received only one customer. Below it is Jeep India’s premium SUV Grand Cherokee at number 8, which was purchased by 18 customers. After this, Jeep had its own off-road SUV, the Wrangler, which received 18 customers in December 2025. It is followed by Citroen India’s electric hatchback EC3 at number 10, which has been purchased by only 32 customers.
Why did the sales of ‘A’ cars fall?
Now if you are wondering why the sales of the above mentioned cars are decreasing in the Indian market or why some models are not selling, then we tell you that the cars of companies like Kia, MG, Nissan and Citroen are very good in the market in that segment and people like them. Kia’s two premium electric cars, the EV6 and EV9, failed to attract customers at all. At the same time, MG and Citroen’s full-size SUVs can’t quite withstand the Toyota Fortuner’s storm.
