Airline officials said there were no security issues with the plane. Vijay Kumar Singh, a senior official of the company, said that the aircraft was 100% safe and the crew was highly experienced. The mishap may have been due to low visibility, but the exact cause of the mishap will be known only after an investigation by the DGCA.
