Volvo has taken the automobile industry by storm with the launch of its new electric SUV EX60. It is the world’s first electric car built around Google Gemini AI. Launched globally on January 21, 2026, the car is not just an electric vehicle, but a super-smart computer on the go. This car is equipped with cool and advanced features. What this car can do, no other car in the world can do. We tell you about its features in detail.
The biggest highlight of this car is its Google Gemini AI, which is smarter than the traditional voice assistant. Until now, cars were driven by just pressing a button or giving a few commands, but in the EX60, Google Gemini AI will change that completely.
Human-like interaction – You no longer need to give fixed commands to the car (like ‘turn on the AC’). You can talk to him like a man. He will understand your complexity.
Email and Calendar Engagement – This is linked to your Gmail and calendar. You can plan your meeting while driving or pull an address from email and put the address directly into the navigation. You can also manage your schedule and messages while driving.
AI will work for the eyes
In future updates, its 360-degree camera will be able to see objects outside. You will be able to ask the car which building is outside and the AI will answer you. It also has super-fast chips from NVIDRA and Qualcomm that process data in the blink of an eye.
Battery
The car is built on Volvo’s new SPA3 800-volt platform, making it faster and more powerful than ever. Three types of it have been introduced.
1- P6 (RWD) – This entry-level model delivers 374 horsepower. It has an 80 kWh battery which gives a range of 620 km.
2- P10 (AWD) – This all-wheel drive model produces 503 horsepower. It has a 91 kWh battery that claims a range of 720 km on a full charge.
3- P12 (AWD) – This is the flagship model of this car and offers a whopping 670 horsepower. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and has a range of up to 810 km.
Equipped with superfast charging
Charge in 10 minutes – With a 400 kW fast charger, you can drive up to 340 kilometers with just 10 minutes of charging.
Electricity – It has vehicle-to-home (V2H) features, which means you can even turn on your house lights with the car battery if required.
Interior and other features
Talking about the interior, the car has a large 15-inch OLED screen and a superb Bowers & Wilkins sound system. It also features the use of Tesla’s supercharger (NACS port). Also, the car is designed with very few parts added (with mega casting technology), making it strong and lightweight.
Car availability
Volvo has already started taking orders for this car in Europe. Its bookings in the US will begin around the summer of 2026. This car is the best choice for people who want to experience luxury as well as futuristic technology and artificial intelligence.
