The airport confirmed that while some departing flights were suspended, several arrivals were diverted. By 3:30 PM, Birmingham Airport announced that the investigation had concluded, and operations would gradually return to normal. Despite the incident, train services at Birmingham International Station remain fully operational. A West Midlands Railway spokesperson stated, “Train services continue to run as normal, but we advise customers to travel safely during this situation.” Bus services were also restored by 3:30 PM.
