Baramati, 7 October: The recent entry of Harshvardhan Patil into the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has stirred discontent among certain members of Sharad Pawar’s faction. Reports suggest that leaders like Praveen Mane and Appasaheb Jagdale are expressing dissatisfaction regarding this political shift.
Meetings among party workers are currently underway at Praveen Mane’s residence, indicating a brewing concern within the faction. Ashok Pawar, an NCP MLA aligned with Sharad Pawar, has already met with Mane in an effort to address his grievances.
Additionally, there are indications that Supriya Sule, another prominent leader of the NCP, is also expected to pay a visit to Mane to discuss and potentially resolve the underlying issues.
The situation highlights the delicate balance within the party as it navigates changes in leadership and alliances, especially with the approaching electoral season. The party leadership will need to carefully manage these internal dynamics to maintain unity ahead of the upcoming elections.
