Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park Accident: Popular Southern California motocross enthusiast Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park has announced its extended shutdown after a fatal accident earlier this year. The closure coincides with a court fight after the June “freak accident” in which 9-year-old motocross rider Brooke Carlton was murdered.

Rising motocross sensation Brooke was riding on an approved off-road circuit when another youngster on an electric bike collided with her. Although onlookers started trying to save Brooke, she received mortal injuries in the crash. She was brought to a hospital where she regrettably passed away from her injuries. The second youngster engaged in it got only minor injuries.

Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park said in a statement shared on social media that the park’s owner has opted to end the contract, effectively closing the facility and expressing great sorrow for the tragedy. The park said: “Due of a lawsuit over a tragic accident that occurred in June, the property owner has terminated our lease as they are also involved in the matter.” “They decided that closing the trail would be most wise for them.”

Since the tragedy, Brooke Carlton’s family and the motocross community have been in grief and are remembering her with sincere remarks. Already, a GoFundMe campaign registered under her name has brought in over 85,000 dollars. Brooke is said in letters from family and friends to be a lively and enthusiastic young girl who loves racing.

Popular in the region, Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park drew drivers of all ages to off-road activities and contests. Since the park was one of the top motocross venues in Southern California, many in the nearby area were startled by its closing.

The Carlton family values the help they have had from the motocross and jet ski communities, family, friends, and neighbors. “We trust and feel that God is walking with us through this situation; we do not know why this happened,” they said.

This event has spurred a conversation about motorcycling safety rules for newly licensed drivers. Many in the community are considering the necessity of a safer riding environment while remembering Brooke’s legacy and her love of motocross because Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park is now closed.
