Pune, 19 October 2024: A major fire broke out near Pasalkar Chowk on Sinhagad Road in Pune when a four-wheeler tempo suddenly caught fire, causing a panic among residents and commuters. The incident took place near the settlement next to a drainage canal, where the vehicle was parked. The situation escalated quickly as a cylinder near the vehicle exploded, further intensifying the fire and alarming the public.

As the fire raged, passing motorists on Sinhagad Road were thrown into confusion, leading to a chaotic scene. A large crowd gathered at the location as the fire spread, with onlookers trying to assess the situation.

Motorists and locals acted quickly, informing the local police and the fire department about the incident. Within minutes, the police arrived at the scene. However, just before the fire brigade could reach, the nearby cylinder exploded, making the situation more dangerous as flames flared up even higher.
