The accused, identified as Dr. Shantanu Sharad Chopra, aged 30 and a resident of Sangamwadi, Pune, has been booked by the Hinjewadi Police following a complaint filed by the victim’s mother.

The Harrowing Incident

The victim, who worked as a Human Resource Officer at a private firm, had been in a relationship with Dr. Chopra, who is employed at a reputed hospital in Pune. On September 23, Dr. Chopra reportedly invited the woman to stay with him. However, an argument ensued that night, and around midnight, he allegedly forced her out of his house. Disturbingly, when the woman pleaded with him, saying she had nowhere to go so late at night, he callously told her to “go die” and not bother him anymore. (Pune News)
