Pune News, October 12,— The Pune Police Department has implemented a significant reform aimed at curbing the rising crime rate in the city. Over the past few months, Pune has witnessed an increase in incidents such as murders, assaults, and gang-related violence. However, in a determined move to restore law and order, the Pune Police have introduced a new strategy aimed at controlling crime more effectively.
As part of this initiative, seven new police stations have been inaugurated in the Pune Metropolitan area on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. Alongside this, Rs 193 crore has been earmarked for the construction of a new Police Commissionerate building, reinforcing the infrastructure needed to tackle growing urban challenges.
