Sharad Pawar: As the deadline for submitting election candidacies approaches, Sharad Pawar is strategically revealing his plans in a bid to challenge Ajit Pawar’s faction. With just a few days left before the assembly election nominations, Sharad Pawar (Sharad Pawar) is ramping up his efforts after successfully attracting key leaders from the ruling coalition in western Maharashtra. He is making calculated political moves to outmaneuver Ajit Pawar’s group.

One significant development is the attempt to lure Satish Chavan, a loyalist of Ajit Pawar, to Sharad Pawar’s camp. Chavan visited Sharad Pawar at his Silver Oak residence on Friday, shortly after criticizing the Mahayuti alliance in a public letter. He is reportedly interested in contesting from the Gangapur constituency, indicating his potential switch to Sharad Pawar’s faction. (Sharad Pawar News)

Strategic Moves Against Aditi Tatkare

Sharad Pawar is also devising strategies to put pressure on key leaders from Ajit Pawar’s faction. In particular, cabinet minister Aditi Tatkare may face significant political challenges from Pawar’s camp. In a notable event, Gyanadev Pawar will join the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Mumbai under Sharad Pawar’s guidance today. Gyanadev Pawar, a former municipal president of Mankhurd, is currently aligned with the Shinde faction. His transition to Sharad Pawar’s group is expected to strengthen the MVA’s position against Aditi Tatkare in the Raigad region.

The induction ceremony for Gyanadev Pawar will take place at the Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Nariman Point. Discussions regarding this strategic move have already been held between Jayant Patil, the president of the Maharashtra State NCP, and prominent leaders like Jitendra Awhad. (Ajit Pawar News)

Gyanadev Pawar’s entry is anticipated to bolster the MVA’s strength in the Shirwad constituency, where Aditi Tatkare has been a dominant force. Notably, the constituency has a significant OBC population, and Pawar’s candidacy could unify community support, providing a substantial advantage in the elections.

Ajit Pawar’s Group Enters the Race

In a counter-move, Ajit Pawar’s faction is preparing to field prominent figures such as Nawab Malik and his daughter, Sanaa Malik, in the upcoming assembly elections. Nawab Malik plans to contest from the Shivajinagar-Mankhurd constituency, while Sanaa Malik will enter the race from the Anushakti Nagar constituency. Both candidates will be contesting under Ajit Pawar’s banner, with Nawab Malik expected to submit his nomination papers on October 28 and Sanaa Malik on October 23.

As the political landscape in Maharashtra heats up, the developments surrounding Sharad Pawar and his strategic maneuvers against Ajit Pawar’s camp are set to play a crucial role in shaping the upcoming assembly elections. The dynamics between these factions will be closely watched as they navigate the challenges ahead.
