Phaltan: In Phaltan, Sanjivraje Nimbalkar, the elder brother of Ramraje Nimbalkar, along with several supporters, officially joined the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP. At the event, Sharad Pawar addressed the gathering, delivering a strong message to the ruling party. In his speech, Pawar firmly stated, “Whether I am 84 or 90, I will not stop,” expressing his unwavering determination to continue working for Maharashtra’s betterment. He assured that he would not rest until the state was on the right path.

Pawar further emphasized, “Do not worry about my age, whether I am 84 or 90,” sending a clear warning to the current government. Deepak Chavan, the sitting MLA, praised Pawar’s leadership and the journey he had undertaken with the party. (Phaltan News).

During the event, Sanjivraje Nimbalkar formally left the Ajit Pawar faction and joined Sharad Pawar’s NCP. The ceremony took place in Phaltan, where Ramraje Nimbalkar’s son, Aniketraje Nimbalkar, symbolically took the lead by holding the “tutari”

Though Ramraje Nimbalkar did not personally hold the tutari, he has remained active in the ongoing political discussions and meetings. This development has sparked considerable debate in political circles. Sharad Pawar, addressing the party officials, said, “If you want to protect your identity and pride, you must take the right steps, even if the ruling forces use all tactics against you. The people of Satara district will not bow down easily.” (Maharashtra News).

Talking about Ramraje Nimbalkar, Pawar added, “I knew that once you went away, you would miss us and eventually return. Now that you are back, it’s time to make the right decisions.”
