Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray, leader of the Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction), made a strong comeback with his first public address after being discharged from the hospital. During this speech, he took a direct jab at his political opponents and welcomed Solapur District President of Ajit Pawar’s NCP faction, Deepak Aaba Salunkhe, into his party.

The event was marked by Salunkhe’s formal entry into the Shiv Sena (Thackeray Group) at ‘Matoshree’ residence. With key party figures like MP Sanjay Raut and Anil Desai present, Thackeray bestowed the symbolic torch, the party’s electoral symbol, to Salunkhe, emphasizing his importance in the upcoming elections.

Thackeray passionately stated, “This is my first appearance post-Dussehra, and after a forced break due to medical reasons. The doctors advised me to rest, but how long can one rest? We have battles ahead, and the first task is to oust the traitors.” His words were met with cheers, hinting at the intensity of the upcoming electoral campaign. (Uddhav Thackeray News)

The torch handed to Deepak Aaba wasn’t just ceremonial. Thackeray urged his supporters, “Every home must now carry this torch. It’s not just about winning elections, but showing those who betrayed us the true strength of our unity. Our victory is certain, and Deepak Aaba’s presence only solidifies that.”

Thackeray, without directly naming candidates, left no doubt about Salunkhe’s candidacy, stating, “I have given him the torch. You must now ensure its flames burn bright across every household.” (Uddhav Thackeray Latest News)

In a pointed remark aimed at political rivals, Uddhav accused them of confusion tactics, referring to the split in Shiv Sena’s symbols, “These traitors, who took hefty sums, are now playing with our symbols. They are trying to create chaos, but it’s our torch that will guide us to victory.”

As the campaign for the upcoming elections heats up, Uddhav Thackeray’s fiery speech marks the beginning of what promises to be a high-stakes political battle in Maharashtra.
