Uttar Pradesh, October 5, 2024 – The excitement surrounding the UP Police Constable recruitment results is reaching a fever pitch as candidates eagerly await their fate. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has confirmed that the results will be unveiled by the end of October 2024, providing hope to millions who participated in the examination.
In a recent announcement on his official social media platform, CM Adityanath urged the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) to finalize and release the results promptly. He stated, “Ensure the release of the police constable recruitment results by this month’s end. It’s essential to accelerate the recruitment process and maintain the integrity of the examinations.”
The recruitment exam, which drew an impressive turnout, was conducted in two phases. The first phase took place from August 23 to 25, while the second phase followed on August 30 and 31, 2024. Candidates were tested in two shifts: the morning session from 10 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon session from 3 PM to 5 PM, across a total of 1,174 exam centers throughout 67 districts in Uttar Pradesh.
To uphold the fairness of the examination, UPPBPB implemented robust security measures, including biometric identification, fingerprint checks, and facial recognition technology. Approximately 48 lakh candidates registered for the exam, with 28.91 lakh appearing for the first phase and 19.26 lakh for the second phase. Notably, about 31.38% of candidates registered for the first phase did not show up for the exam.
Following each phase, provisional answer keys were made available, allowing candidates to submit objections until September 19, 2024. As the results draw nearer, candidates are encouraged to visit the official UPPBPB website at uppbpb.gov.in for the latest updates and information regarding their results.
With just weeks to go, the anticipation is palpable as candidates await their opportunity to join the ranks of the UP Police. The upcoming announcement will be pivotal for many, marking the beginning of their journey in law enforcement.
